I guess I haven't posted since....last November. Oops. Been a little busy.
Especially since I started playing Imperial Galaxy on Facebook. Which is TOTALLY gay considering I have played many games that were much better, but there is a social component to it and I guess that hooks me every time. And there is almost no time obligation to speak of. Comparatively.
Lots has happened. My Black Kitty had to be put to sleep last Friday morning. He got really sick really fast so there was not prolonged illness. I miss him, though. He was the last of the cats I had owned since before I moved to California. He was such a gentle cat.
Also, I failed one of my finals and ended up with a B- in the class after a long, dramatic ordeal which I don't feel like going into because I've been talking about it enough lately. So my GPA is now down to 3.70 which is pretty much shit in my program. But, I can bring it up. Not that grades really matter that much in grad school anyway.
So, I got this new browser called Flock that Mack turned me on to. I highly recommend it.
I'm throwing a shower for Kat and Mack at Ty and Andrea's house on Saturday, May 17. My mom and I are driving down to Atlanta this Friday and we'll be there until May 19. Ten whole days in Atlanta! It's going to be great. I'm so sick of Nashville right now. We're renting a condo in a highrise downtown on Peachtree right near the Apparel Mart. It's way cheaper than a hotel and we can cook food and stuff. No parking, though, so we have to park in a lot down the street. That part is gay. But it is a good deal.
Also, Lida's pregnant. Yay!
My reunion will be June 28.
I got a Trikke T78air. I learned to ride it Sunday from a guy I met on a forum for trikkes, trikketalk.com. He was very nice. It's fun but hard and a good workout. I also went to Pilates today so I'm extra tired and sore. I've gained 10 lbs and am fat so I have to do something to help myself get in shape.
K I'm tired now. I have to do head start speech screenings tomorrow morning and Wednesday morning.
