I know, I know....

Sorry. It's been a while since I posted last.

I can't believe how much work grad school is. I knew it would be brutal but this is insane. There is no possible way to get all the things read and done that they are asking. The transition has been difficult. I'm sure I will be fine, though. It's just very, very, very time consuming. And, I have horrible discipline.

It hasn't helped that I've been battling migraines this past week. Hopefully when I start a new pack of pills that will go away...

I wish I could post more right now but I really need to get to work.

One thing - I have decided to cut my hair short. Probably a bob. I am tired of dealing with it and I wear it up all the time anyway. It's been a while since I had short hair. I plan to come home over fall break, so I will likely drive home on the evening of Friday, October 19 and stay until like Sunday or Monday. I have Monday and Tuesday off. Depends, of course, on how much is due when I get back. I think I have a major assignment due around then. Maybe before? I can't remember. I do know that I have an assload of things due at the end of the semester...that's for sure. I have to try to make myself get an early start on things. Which I suck at. But I have to try to do it because I have to come home for a wedding on December 8, which is the weekend before the last week of classes. Weekends are really the only time I have to do much homework. When you have to get up at 5:30 or 6:00 in the morning, and you don't get home until 6, 7, or 8:00 at night, it's hard to get things done during the week. A girl's gotta eat and sleep and chill a little bit, ya know? Not to mention, do laundry, pay bills, go to the store, etc.

THIS IS HARD!!!! Good thing I hardly have any friends LOL. Haven't been making many meetings, either, which isn't good. I plan to make one on Tuesday. My life is like the polar opposite of what it was when I lived in Atlanta. Social life is like 5%. Meetings are like 5%. School is 85%. It's weird.

Also, been smoke free still since I quit back in August. That's going well.

Ok, gotta run.

I'm so glad you're smoke free! Keep up the good work!

BTW, today is 6 years for me.
